Privacy
Charger Lookup helps you find the correct laptop charger. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to do that.
What we collect
- Searches.When you search a laptop model, we log the query and whether we found a match. This tells us which laptops to cover next. It isn't linked to your identity.
- “Add my laptop” requests. If your model isn't listed you can submit its brand and model. An email address is optional— we store it only to let you know when we've added your laptop, and for nothing else.
- Basic, privacy-friendly analytics. Aggregate page views and referrers, with no cookies and no cross-site tracking.
What we don't do
- No accounts, no passwords, no payments or checkout.
- No selling chargers ourselves and no advertising networks.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
- Outbound links to retailers (e.g. Amazon) only appear once a product has been manually verified; none are shown at launch.
Keeping & removing data
Search logs are aggregated for coverage planning. If you submitted an email and want it removed, contact us and we'll delete it.
